Carlos Méndez
Carlos Méndez (Guatemala, 2004) is a filmmaker with a multidisciplinary background, he has developed a holistic approach to cinema, gaining experience in directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, and music composition. As a director, he has created the short films Una hora de silencio (2023), Los hombres que olvidaron que eran hombres (2025), and BLANCO (2025) in which he explores themes such as confinement, repetition, and loss of identity through a minimalist and contemplative aesthetic.
