Ewan McGregor

Oyuncu · 1971 · Perth

Ewan Gordon McGregor, 31 Mart 1971 tarihinde Perth, İskoçya'da dünyaya gelmiştir. Öğretmen bir anne ve babanın oğlu olarak Crieff kasabasında büyüyen McGregor'ın oyunculuğa yönelmesindeki en büyük ilham kaynaklarından biri, orijinal "Star Wars" üçlemesinde Wedge Antilles'i canlandıran aktör dayısı Denis Lawson oldu. Londra'daki Guildhall Müzik ve Drama Okulu'nda eğitim alan McGregor, mezuniyetine kısa bir süre kala Dennis Potter'ın "Lipstick on Your Collar" (1993) dizisinde başrolü kaparak profesyonel kariyerine hızlı bir giriş yaptı.
