Privacy and cookies
Sinetopya Club explains here where and for how long it stores your data. For the full list of what data is kept when you open an account and of your rights, you can see the privacy notice.
This is a translation. The Turkish text governs: if the two differ, the Turkish text applies.

WHAT DATA IS KEPT
- Member: your email addressTo send the sign-in code and recognise your account. Also, if you wish, to send the film and series suggestion emails you turn on.
- Addresses email does not reachIf our email service reports that a message we sent to an address bounced permanently or was marked as unwanted, we send no more email to that address; we say so at sign-in. For this we keep not the address itself but a digest made from it, the reason and the date, for 1 year. If your address works again, write to iletisim@sinetopya.com.
- Member: your profileYour display name, username, what you write about yourself and, if you add one, your profile picture (a square copy drawn from the file you upload; location and device information are dropped). Your name comes from Google or Facebook if you sign in that way, and from your email address if you sign in with a code; you change it in Settings. Your profile is a public page; who sees what is below. Anyone who knows your picture’s address can open it.
- Member: your watch diaryThe films and series you watched and their dates, the episodes you marked in series and the ratings you gave. Your rating joins the film or series’ member average without your name; the average appears with at least 10 votes.
- Member: your watchlist and favouritesThe films and series you add to your list and the four films you choose in My profile.
- Member: what you import from LetterboxdIf you import, your Letterboxd diary, watched films, ratings and watchlist are added to the ones here; after that they are like your own records. You can undo an import in Settings within 30 days; the records you added yourself and changed later stay. We do not keep the file you upload: it is deleted when the import ends. We never open the profile file inside it (your email address, your name). The record showing which line was added is kept for 30 days.
- Member: where you left off in the playerWhere you left a video in the player (the video’s YouTube id, the second you stopped at, the video’s length and when), so that you can go on from there on another device and see what you left unfinished in Keep watching in Watch free. The last 50 videos are kept. For a series episode whose video opens only on YouTube, when you press Open on YouTube or Watch free, which episode it was and when are also kept (the second is not known; for each series the last episode you pressed stays); the series page says this. When you finish a video, rewind it to the start or remove it from Keep watching, the second you stopped at is deleted; only when it happened stays.
- Member: your reviewsThe reviews you write of films and series (at most 280 characters) and their spoiler marks. A film’s review appears with that watch’s day and rating, a series’ review with the day you wrote it and the rating you gave the series.
- Member: your News commentsThe comments and replies you write on News items (at most 1000 characters), when they were written and edited, and the comments you liked. Your comments appear with your display name; under a comment only the number of likes appears, not who liked it.
- Member: your News reactionsThe Like or Dislike you press on News items and when you pressed it. On an item only the number of Likes appears; who liked or disliked it does not. Pressing again takes it back.
- Member: your What to watch preferenceWhether What to watch brings only free films and series or films and series from every platform. It is saved when you press “Free” or a platform in the PLATFORM row. At first it brings only free films and series; this preference applies in every browser you sign in on, is deleted when you delete your account and is in the file you export.
- Member: your language preferenceWhich language (Turkish or English) the site opens in for you. You change it in Settings; this preference applies in every browser you sign in on, is deleted when you delete your account and is in the file you export.
- Member: your lists and savesThe lists you make (their name, description and the films and series in them; private or public) and the lists you save.
- Member: content you reportIf you report a list, review, comment or profile, your reason, your note if any and the date.
- Member: decisions about your contentIf your content is reported, the record of the decision (its result, reason, date and who gave it) and a copy of the content reviewed. If your content is removed, we tell you with the reason.
- Member: your privacy settingsWho your profile, diary and new lists are open to; below.
- Member: your notificationsFor films and series that became free, new Sinetopya reviews, source problems settled, content of yours removed and Letterboxd imports finished, and to ask once whether you want to turn on the Film and series suggestions email if it is off; whether you read them is kept too. You turn off the Now free email in Settings; the notification in the app still comes. The Film and series suggestions email (once a week: free films and series on your watchlist, popular ones and new free ones this week; we use your watchlist when choosing what to include) starts off; it comes if you turn it on in Settings or when you become a member. When and from where you turned it on or off is kept; you leave with one click through the link in every email.
- Member: sources you reported a problem withTo tell you the result of a problem you report while signed in, a link between your account and that source is kept. The problem record has no name; the link is deleted when the result is known.
- Member: your session recordsFor each open session, how you signed in (with a code, Google or Facebook) and when the session will end; with no IP address or device information.
- Messages you write through ContactIf you write to us from the Contact page, the topic you chose, your message and its date are kept. If you are a member, the message is linked to your account. If you are not a member, only the email address you wrote is kept; if you write none, we do not know who the message came from. Only our admin team reads your message; it is not published or shared with anyone. If a reply is needed, we write by email.
DATA NOT KEPT
- Your IP addressIt is not stored with your account, your session or the server’s request log; in the request log there is instead a short code made with a key that changes every day (below). To limit abuse only a digest of it, made with a secret key and not reversible, is kept, for at most 48 hours. To slow down a visitor asking for pages very fast, a digest of your address with a secret key is held for at most one minute after your last request, only in the server’s memory; it is written nowhere.
- Visitor: your name or email does not enter the recordFor every request that comes in, whether you are a member or not, our server keeps a short record: the request’s method (such as GET or POST), the address of the page asked for (without your search words; in the address of a member’s profile, a list or a data export, which one it is is not written), the time, the response’s status, size and duration, the name your browser introduces itself with and, if any, the name of the site you came from. Your IP address is not written in this record; instead a short code is written, made from your address with a secret key that changes every day and is deleted at the end of the day. Requests from the same address on the same day have the same code, so that day’s requests can be linked to one another until the record is deleted; while the key exists, an address’s code can also be worked out. After the key is deleted, it cannot be found which address a code belongs to, and the codes of different days cannot be linked. We use this code only to count how many separate connections the load on the server comes from. The record has no cookie or session information; it is kept for at most 7 days. While you browse without an account, apart from this only a digest of your network made with a secret key, not reversible (at most 48 hours), to limit abuse, and visit counts that do not recognise you (below) are kept.
- Player counts: who opened it is not keptWhen you open the player on a film or series, whether you are a member or not, that film or series’ count for the day goes up by one on our own server; the Popular on Sinetopya row in Watch free uses these counts too. The counts hold only the film or series, the day and the number: not who opened it, your account, your IP address or your browser. Opening the same film or series again on the same day does not raise the count. To limit abuse, a digest of your network or account together with which film or series it opened, made with a secret key, is kept for at most 48 hours.
WHO SEES WHAT
- Always everyoneYour display name (or your username if you have none), your username, your profile picture, the month you joined, your reviews, with their day and rating (for a film the watch day, for a series the day you wrote it), and the comments you write on News items. No setting hides reviews and comments; you delete what you wish. Your email address does not appear to other members.
- Everyone while your profile is openWhat you write about yourself, your four favourites, your numbers and the public lists on your profile. Its switch: My profile is public.Starts on
- Everyone while your diary is open tooYour watch diary: the days you watched, your ratings, your series episodes; only while your profile is open too. While your diary is public, what you last watched also joins the Popular on Sinetopya row in Watch free without your name. Its switch: My diary is public.Starts off
- Everyone on a public listThe list at its own address, on the Lists page and in search, with your display name; how many people saved it appears too. You choose on each list; which one comes selected on a new list is set by the switch My new lists are public by default.Starts on
- In a shared linkWhen the link of your profile or of a public list is shared in an app, a preview picture appears. For a list: its name, your display name, the number of films and series and the first three posters; for a profile: your display name, your picture, your username and the number of films and series you watched, and while your profile is closed only your name and initials. A private or removed list has no preview. The app the link is shared in may store the preview on its own side.
- You aloneYour email address, your private lists, the lists you saved, your watchlist, your notifications and the results of your Letterboxd imports. Other members do not see the content you report; the admin team does.
- The admin teamSees a reported piece of content and who reported it. We do not tell the content’s owner who reported it.
YOUR DATA AND YOUR ACCOUNT
- Download my dataEvery record in your account is prepared in one file. The link comes to your email; you can download the file only with your account. The file is deleted 7 days after it is ready.
- Delete my accountYour account and every record tied to it are deleted at once: your profile and profile picture, diary, ratings, watchlist, favourites, where you left off in the player, reviews, News comments, likes and reactions, lists, saved lists, content you reported, messages you wrote through Contact, notifications, download files, imports, your Google or Facebook connection and all your sessions. There is no waiting period, and it cannot be undone. If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Sinetopya Club on Facebook under Settings › Apps and Websites.
- After deletionYour ratings leave the member averages and your reactions leave the Like counts of the items. Your reviews come off film and series pages, and your News comments, together with the replies under them, come off the items; the addresses of your public lists stop opening and the saves of those who saved them are deleted too. The copies in backups and at the email service go when the periods below run out.
- What is not deletedThe source problems you reported already have no name, and they stay. The films and series added to the catalogue when you saved or imported them stay too; they are not personal records. The record of a decision made about your content (its result, reason, date) stays with its link to your account cut; the copy of the content reviewed is deleted with your account.
SINEFIL MEMBERSHIP
- Payment: PaddlePaddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd, United Kingdom; for buyers in the USA, Paddle.com Inc., and for buyers in Canada, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd.) sells Sinefil to you as reseller and merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice, pays the VAT (KDV) and runs your subscription and refunds. Paddle is an independent controller of your payment data and processes it under its own privacy policy; when it runs your subscription for us, it processes on our behalf. When you open the payment page, a customer record is opened for you at Paddle: we pass on your email address and your account’s number; you enter your name, country and card details on Paddle’s payment page yourself. Your full card details do not reach us and are not stored by us.United Kingdom / United States
- What we keepYour plan (yearly or monthly), the status of your subscription, when the period you paid for ends, whether you cancelled and your customer and subscription numbers at Paddle. The records of your payments and invoices sit at Paddle.Germany
- FollowThe films, series, people and platforms you follow and your notification and email settings for Follow; to send you a notification and an email when a new episode is added to a series, when a film or series of a person you follow becomes free to watch on the site, when a film becomes free to watch, or when a film or series on your watchlist comes to a platform you follow. We also use the platforms you follow to show their subscription rows first in the Where to watch part of film and series pages. We also use the same platforms to put them first in the platform row of What to watch and, when you choose, to narrow What to watch and your Watchlist down to the films and series on these platforms. We keep when a film or series on your watchlist came to a platform you follow and when we told you (your platform news), to tell you, and so as not to give the same news twice. You stop following on the film’s, series’ or person’s own page or in Following; you turn off the notification or email under Settings › Notifications. When Sinefil ends, notifications and emails stop, the My platforms choice in What to watch and the platform choice in your Watchlist go away, the platform row of What to watch and Where to watch go back to their usual order and what you follow is not deleted. Following does not open then: you ask for them to be deleted at iletisim@sinetopya.com.Germany
- Profile coverThe scene you choose from your four favourites to put at the top of your profile: which film it is and the scene’s file name at TMDB. While your profile is open, everyone sees it; while it is closed, only you. When Sinefil ends it is no longer shown but not deleted; if you delete your account, it is deleted.Germany
- WhyTo introduce you to Paddle so that it can take the payment, to start, renew and end your membership and to open what Sinefil offers you. Legal ground: the making and performance of the membership contract.
- Download my dataThe file you download includes your membership too: your customer and subscription numbers at Paddle, your plan, the status of your subscription, the end of your period and whether you cancelled; what you follow, your notification and email settings for Follow and your platform news; and your profile cover, if you chose one.
- How long it is keptYour membership record is kept while Sinefil lasts; it stays when Sinefil ends too and is deleted 180 days after your last paid period is over, so that we can find your Paddle record if a payment or refund problem comes up later. The legal ground for this is our legitimate interest. After Sinefil ends, you can also ask for this record alone to be deleted, without deleting your account, at iletisim@sinetopya.com. If you opened the payment page and did not become a Sinefil, your customer number is deleted after 7 days; the legal ground for those days is again our legitimate interest. After your membership record is deleted, only a yes/no mark stays on your account, so that we can find and close your customer record at Paddle if you delete your account; it goes with your account. Your customer record at Paddle, your email address included, is separate from this record: it stays while your account stays open and is closed if you delete your account. If you delete your account, your subscription is first cancelled, then our record is deleted at once. What you follow and your platform news are also kept while your account stays open, and deleted if you delete your account. Platform news we have not told you yet is deleted if the film or series leaves your watchlist or the platform, if you stop following the platform, if you turn off both the notification and the email, or if Sinefil ends. Paddle keeps payment and invoice records for its own legal obligations, for its own periods.
MEASUREMENT AND ADS
- Visit measurementIt uses no cookies, writes nothing to your browser and does not store your IP address. To tell visits apart it uses an id made with a key that changes every month, not reversible; it keeps no record that recognises you. It keeps totals: which pages were opened (without your search words), where the visit came from (search engine, social media, share card), approximate location (country, city), browser, device type and language, also which film or series “Watch free” was pressed for, someone not signed in opening the sign-in screen on an action such as saving or rating (which action; not who), pressing Google or Facebook on the sign-in screen and sign-in page (with which action opened the screen; not who), the email code being sent, a Google or Facebook sign-in not being completed and closing the screen without signing in (how many seconds it was open, as a range “0-5”, “5-30”, “30-120” or “120+”; not who) and the offer to become a member in “Watch free” being shown or passed (where it was; not who). It keeps members’ first steps as numbers alone too: how many people became members (by email, Google or Facebook), how many members gave their first rating and first diary entry (film or series), how many lists were made and which kind of page “Share” was pressed for (film, series, list, profile, news item); not which film or series, list or item, and not who. Signing in, adding to the watchlist, marking as watched, rating, choosing a suggestion in What to watch and whether a visit is a member’s visit are also kept only as: a number, the kind (film, series, episode, season), which kind of page it was done on, how you signed in (email, Google or Facebook), if you chose a suggestion in What to watch whether the “Free” option was on, and by which way you came to the site; not who you are. It also keeps Sinefil members’ presses on their platform choice only as numbers: pressing “My platforms” in What to watch (choosing their platforms, letting them go, or pressing it before any platform is added), opening the “On my platforms” tab in the Watchlist and pressing a platform under it (only that platform’s name, and whether it was chosen or let go); not who, and not which film or series. If “Do Not Track” or GPC is on in your browser, it does not run at all.1 year
- Error recordsWhen a page or the server gives an error, the technical detail of the error is recorded. Before the record is sent, IP addresses, email addresses, cookies and session information are removed; no screen recording is taken.30 days
- CloudflareEvery request to Sinetopya Club, whether or not you are a member, passes through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), our content delivery and security service, before it reaches our server. With each request Cloudflare sees your IP address, your browser information, the address of the page asked for and the time of the request; the site’s answers and, if you are signed in, your session cookie pass through it too. It processes them on our behalf and only for these purposes: to protect the site from automated traffic (bots) and attacks, and, to open the site fast, to keep frequently asked static files (pictures, fonts, code files) for a while on its own servers. On a request that looks suspicious it may show you a check page; you carry on once you pass it. Cloudflare’s servers are in many countries around the world. Our own server’s record does not change because of this: your IP address is still not written there (above, DATA NOT KEPT). How Cloudflare uses this data and how long it keeps it is in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy (new tab); the cookies it writes are in the cookie table below.
- Google AdSense adsIf you are not a Sinefil, on some pages we show ads with AdSense, Google’s ad service; Sinefil members see no ads. The ad code loads only if you allow ad cookies in the cookie notice; without your permission, or if you refuse, the AdSense ad code does not load and no request for an AdSense ad goes to Google; the ads YouTube itself shows inside the YouTube player are outside this choice (below, YouTube player). If you allow it, ads load directly to your browser from Google’s servers (Google LLC, USA) and Google, under its own responsibility, processes: the ad cookies it writes to your browser, device and ad ids, your IP address, your browser information, the address of the page the ad is shown on, and whether you saw the ad and whether you pressed it. Google uses these to show the ad, to measure views and clicks, to prevent fake clicks and, because you allowed it, to choose ads by your interests (personalised). We send Google no information about your account (your email address, what you watched). If you come from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, after you allow ads in our notice Google also shows its own consent notice; you make the choice of personalised or non-personalised ads there and change it there. You can withdraw your permission at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the page (in the first visit’s notice, the “Preferences” button opens the same window); once you withdraw it, the ad code does not load again. How Google uses this data and how long it keeps it is on the page How Google uses your data when you use its partners’ sites (new tab); you can also turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings (new tab).
- Google AnalyticsTo see how the site is used, we keep visit statistics with Google Analytics 4. It loads only if you allow analytics cookies (“Analytics”) in the cookie notice, with the same Google tag as the Google Ads tag; if you do not allow them or you refuse, it does not load and no request for it goes to Google. If you allow them, Google (Google LLC, USA) writes the _ga and _ga_<id> cookies in your browser and processes under its own responsibility your IP address, your browser and device information, the pages you visit and where you came from; Google signals and ad personalisation from analytics are off, and no information about your account (your email address, your account’s number) goes. This transfer rests on your explicit consent; when you withdraw your permission from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the page, Google Analytics does not load again and we delete the _ga cookies. Our own measurement tool (above) keeps working on its own, without cookies.
- Google Ads tagTo measure how many members and how many video plays the ads we run on Google Ads bring, we use Google’s Google Ads tag (gtag.js). The tag loads only if you allow ad cookies in the cookie notice, for Sinefil members too; if you do not allow them or you refuse, it does not load and no request for it goes to Google. If you allow them, the tag loads directly to your browser from Google’s servers (Google LLC, USA); Google writes ad cookies (_gcl_au, and _gcl_aw, which carries the id of the click if you came from a Google ad) and processes under its own responsibility your IP address, your browser information, the page’s address, whether you came from an ad and the moment you became a member or started a video; it may also use them to choose ads by your interests. We tell Google only that there is a “new member” or a “video started”; your email address, your account’s number and what you watch do not go. This transfer rests on your explicit consent; when you withdraw your permission from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the page, the tag does not load again and we delete Google’s _gcl cookies on this site.
- Posters and photosFilm and series images load directly to your browser from the image server of our film data source. When asking for each image, that server sees your IP address, your browser information and that you came from Sinetopya; nothing about your account goes.
- Images in emailsThe logo, poster strip and fonts in our emails are asked for from our server, if your email app loads them. These requests enter the short server record we describe above. Their addresses are the same for everyone and carry no personal mark. The film and series posters in the “Now free”, Follow and “Film and series suggestions” emails, however, are asked for from the image server of our film data source: if your email app loads them, that server sees which poster is asked for, your IP address and your app’s information; your email address and account are not added to these requests. The sign-in code, email change code, welcome to Sinefil and your data is ready emails have no such poster. Our emails have no tracking pixel.
- YouTube playerIt loads and starts playing only when you press Watch or a trailer. When you press, the player loads from youtube.com (Google): YouTube sees your IP address, may write its own cookies to your browser and may use them to tell it is the same browser; if you are signed in on YouTube, it may connect this with your account. YouTube may show ads in the player; we do not choose these ads.
- YouTube imagesThe channel pictures in source rows and the small pictures of trailers load directly to your browser from YouTube’s image servers (Google) when you reach that part of the page. Those servers see your IP address and browser information; nothing about your account goes. A picture taken from a free episode’s video, however, loads from our server; for that picture no information from you goes to YouTube.
- YouTube API ServicesSinetopya Club uses the YouTube API Services. For the data YouTube processes through these services, the Google Privacy Policy (new tab) applies.
- Data we read from YouTubeTo show where a film or series can be watched, we read the public information of the video and the channel through the YouTube API Services: name, description, length, publish date, picture quality, playback restrictions, playlists, the channel’s name, username and picture. This public information of a video may also be processed by our artificial intelligence service provider, to find out which film or series it is. We keep this information for at most 30 days; then we renew or delete it. We do not read your YouTube sign-in information or any private data of the account (such as watch history, subscriptions, likes).
- Pictures of the postsThe pictures of the post cards on News, on its articles page and in search load directly to your browser from the Sinetopya blog’s server (sinetopya.com). That server sees your IP address and browser information and processes them under the blog’s privacy policy; nothing about your account goes. When you press a post, it opens on the blog; there the blog’s privacy and cookie policy applies.
- NewsWe write the short summaries in News; beside each summary is a link to the item’s original source. When you press the link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. The photos of News items load directly to your browser from the server of the site that published the item; that site sees your IP address and browser information, and nothing about your account goes.
COOKIES
- __Secure-club.session_tokenKeeps your session open. Closing the browser does not delete it.30 days
- club.girisCarries the email address you typed while moving to the code screen; it is read only at /club/en/giris.10 minutes
- __Secure-club.stateTo recognise a fake request during sign-in with Google or Facebook (CSRF protection).5 minutes
- club.cerez_izniRemembers whether you allowed ad cookies (and, where Google Analytics is on, analytics cookies) in the cookie notice: only yes or no for each, it carries nothing else that identifies you. It is needed to load or not load the ad code, the Google Ads tag and Google Analytics according to your choice and not to show the notice again on every page; so it is necessary. It is written only when you make a choice; when you change your choice from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the page, it changes to the new one.6 months (180 days)
- club.ucretsizRemembers your choice when you press “Free” or a platform in the PLATFORM row of What to watch without being a member: a single digit, it carries nothing else that identifies you. It is written only when you press one of them and sent only to the What to watch page. If you are a member, your choice is kept on your account and this cookie is not written.1 year
- club.giris.oneriIf you ticked the film and series suggestions box while becoming a member, it carries the fact that the box is ticked to the code screen: a single mark, it carries nothing else. It is written only when you tick the box and ask for a code, and read only at /club/en/giris; it is deleted when the sign-in ends or the time runs out. It carries nothing that follows you.10 minutes
- club.dilRemembers the page’s language: only Turkish or English, it carries nothing else that identifies you. It is written only when you change the language and when you sign in, never by itself; if there is no cookie, we choose the page’s language from your browser’s language setting. You change the language at the foot of the page, or in Settings if you are a member. It is sent only to Sinetopya Club pages.1 year
- club.yonetim_siraWritten only for the admin team, never for visitors or members. It remembers the order you chose in a list tab on the admin pages: only the name of the order, it carries nothing else that identifies you. It is written when you choose an order, as the page is drawn in the browser, and sent only to /club/yonetim pages. It is deleted after one hour; drawing the list again renews that hour.1 hour
- Google ad cookies (third party)Written by Google only if you allow ad cookies: with AdSense ads (for example __gads, __gpi, IDE) and with the Google Ads tag (_gcl_au, and _gcl_aw if you came from a Google ad). They are for showing the ad, measuring it, counting how many members our ads bring, preventing fake clicks and choosing personalised ads (above, Google AdSense ads and Google Ads tag). If you do not allow them they are not written; when you withdraw your permission from “Cookie preferences” at the foot of the page no new ones are written, we delete the _gcl cookies, and you can delete the others in your browser’s settings. The period Google sets (_gcl_au and _gcl_aw 90 days; most of the others 13 months, some up to 2 years)
- Google Analytics cookies (third party)Written by Google only if you allow analytics cookies (“Analytics”): _ga and _ga_<id>. They are for telling visits apart and keeping visit statistics (above, Google Analytics). If you do not allow them they are not written; when you withdraw your permission from “Cookie preferences” we delete them.2 years
- __cf_bm (Cloudflare, third party)Written by Cloudflare. It is needed to tell automated traffic (bots) from people on the site; it carries nothing else that identifies you and is not used for ads or tracking. It is necessary to protect the site, so no consent is asked. Cloudflare may not write it for every visitor.30 minutes
- cf_clearance (Cloudflare, third party)Written only after Cloudflare shows you a check page and you pass it: it remembers that you passed, so you are not asked again on every page. It is necessary to protect the site, so no consent is asked.1 day
- Tab storage (not a cookie)If you pressed a button without signing in (Watched, a rating, adding to a list, saving a list, reporting), to complete it after sign-in; if you opened the sign-in window over a page, that page’s address, so that the window opens again over it when you come back from Google or Facebook or refresh the page. It is kept only in that tab; it is deleted when the tab closes.15 minutes
- Watch free counter (tab storage, not a cookie)So that we can suggest becoming a member once when you press Watch free for the second time in this tab without being a member, your press is noted: a single word, not which film or series it was or when you pressed. It is not sent to our server. It is kept only in that tab.Until the tab closes
- Browser storage (not a cookie)Where you left a video in the player is kept in this browser, so that you can go on from there when you open the same video again. Beside it the film or series’ name, page, poster, scene picture and episode are kept too; the Keep watching row in Watch free is drawn with these. If you have not signed in, none of them is sent to our server. There are two exceptions, both only the video’s id: the address of the card’s link holds the video’s id; and on a card with no scene picture or one that fails to load, that video’s own picture is shown and asked for from our server, and the address of this request holds the video’s id too. The second you stopped at and the video’s length do not go. For a series episode whose video opens only on YouTube, when you press Open on YouTube or Watch free, which episode it was is also kept in the same place, without a second (for each series the last episode you pressed stays). If you have signed in, your places are kept on your account too (above, Member: where you left off in the player); the places in this browser are moved to your account once, at the first sign-in, and the move is marked here. When you finish a video, rewind it to the start or remove it from Keep watching, it is deleted. When you sign out, the copy in this browser is deleted; your places stay on your account.Last 50 videos
- Recent searches (browser storage, not a cookie)So that you can easily open your recent searches again, your last ten search words are kept in this browser. This list is not sent to our server. There is no time limit; anyone using this browser can see it. In the list under the search box you can delete each word with the × beside it; if you are a member, it is deleted when you sign out.Last 10 searches
- Player counter (browser storage, not a cookie)So that opening the player again on the same film or series on the same day is not counted a second time, today’s date and the numbers of the films and series you opened today are kept in this browser. This list is not sent to our server; at the first press the next day it changes to a new one.Until the next day
