23 Ocak'ta duyurulacak 96. Akademi Ödülleri adaylıkları öncesi, belirli kategorilerde kısa listelere seçilen adaylar resmi olarak açıklandı.
Greta Gerwig'in 2023'e damgasını vuran filmi Barbie, beş adaylıkla 2024 Oscar kısa listelerinde en çok adı geçen yapım oldu. "En İyi Ses" ve "En İyi Film Müziği" kategorilerinde birer ve "En İyi Özgün Şarkı" kategorisinde tam üç kısa liste adaylığı alan film, beklenenin aksine "En İyi Makyaj ve Saç Tasarımı" kategorisinin adayları arasında yer alamadı.
Barbenheimer'ın diğer tarafındaysa Christopher Nolan'ın Oppenheimer filmi, "En İyi Makyaj ve Saç Tasarımı", "En İyi Ses" ve "En İyi Film Müziği" kategorilerinde kısa listeye girmeyi başardı.
Açıklanan kısa listelerde Barbie'den sonra en çok adı geçen film ise Martin Scorsese'nin Killers of the Flower Moon'u oldu. Film; "En İyi Makyaj ve Saç Tasarımı", "En İyi Ses", "En İyi Film Müziği" ve "En İyi Özgün Şarkı" kategorilerinde kısa listeye kalmayı başardı. Filmin, geçen yıl All Quiet on the Western Front'un yaptığı gibi tüm bu kategorilerde nihai adaylık alıp ödüle koşması da bekleniyor.
Bu büyük yarışın bizi daha çok ilgilendiren tarafına baktığımızda ise, Türkiye'nin "En İyi Yabancı Film" aday adayı olan Nuri Bilge Ceylan'ın Kuru Otlar Üstüne filmi, ne yazık ki bu kategoride kısa listeye kalmayı başaramadı.
2024 Oscar Ödülleri'nin tüm adayları 23 Ocak'ta açıklanacak. Ödüller ise 10 Mart'ta düzenlenecek törenle sahiplerini bulacak.
